App license

PDF Shrink is proprietary software distributed through the Apple App Store. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control.

Open-source boundary

The free browser tools run entirely client-side using permissively licensed open-source libraries: pdf-lib (MIT) and PDF.js (Apache-2.0). AGPL or otherwise restrictive engines (for example PyMuPDF or Ghostscript) are not deployed in this website, and no PDFCraft source or WebAssembly is bundled.

Attribution

The public website uses static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript generated from this repository, plus the vendored pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries noted above. App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
